Aha, said Mister Peabody. You see how my bandwagon experiment worked, Sherman. By posting a thread entitled "The Holy Grail" which linked to the latest Da Vinci Code etc conspiracy story, this blog had 5x as many hits over the weekend as it has in a normal workweek. And that was for a dull post about the tech/web side of the story. So to all of you who came here seeking the darkest secrets of the Templars, sorry. You got suckered into a bit of cheeky webmaster fun.
It's proof that bandwagons and trends will always prevail. But rest assured that that's as black hat as my SEO will ever get. (With the exception of...erm...that last sentence.)
