Website progressional and SEO patients
It never stops amazing me how the internet changes. Almost on a weekly basis there is something new to do or something that has changed and needs to be addressed. We realize for ourselves that being a website design company our competition is close to 2 million strong. To think or even imagine we could be listed in google, yahoo, or MSN in the first 100 pages or even the first 200 pages is not to realistic. Even with programs like AD words, or a PPC we would still probably not break the top 100. We have come to find a warm feeling of comfort knowing this and though we strive to optimize our site and do everything humanly possible to create a search engine presence we do understand the odds are not in our favor. What Current House Productions does take pleasure in is knowing that some of our clients are enjoying high page ranking and page position in Google, Yahoo, and MSN. Mainly in part to our own necessity to be a part SEO company for ourselves. Everything we do to optimize ourselves we do for our clients– FREE. So some of our clients face off against competitors that range in numbers like 2,300 or 800,000 these numbers to us seem like a small private party in comparison to the battle we wage on the website development front. We have one client, and this client is one of our favorites to be sure but they are anxious to see results. They are anxious to be on the first page of their particular search criteria. They really have only been around for a few months. There domain is new, their service is new, they battle for position against companies that have been around for 10 or more years and have an endless supply of ad revenue dollars to spend. Well, this client of ours is reaping the benefits of all the things we are continuing to learn and implement as far as our SEO. This client is steadily gaining ground on it’s competitors and I can feel their competitors quacking in their shoes and this client of ours gains momentum. Soon they will be in the first page. This client of ours has been approached by many full SEO companies promising them these great results if they use them. I told our client that if another company came in and took their money to optimize their website it would be a shame and a waste of money. The work has already been done, the tools for success of this website have been utilized. A SEO company would take their money and probably say “Give us about a month and a half and you will see significant results in your website being listed higher.” Yeah? No kidding. It would be about right, in time anyway that the search engine process would have indexed them and with their current traffic flow and the endless backlinks we have created and the feeds coming to them via RSS in all directions and the optimized keywords used…..Let me take a breath, The point is before making a long story increasingly longer is that website design is more than just our unique flare of creativity and personalization. It is more than our on going free consultations that we seem to give our clients (because we like them all), it is more than us doing the best we can to optimize your website and increase our knowledge on this ever changing game of internet cat and mouse, it so much more than all of these things. What it comes down to is time, persistence, willingness, and the integrity promise we keep in saying we will do everything we can to help promote your website. But we are not alone… You must make the same effort yourself if you want to make your website be seen and recognized. That our have and endless supply of advertising revenue to pay to be in first place. All in all we are getting better at what we do. We are a good company we are proud of ourselves and our ability to make a great looking product. We know we will get better and we know we have a long way to go. We will not stop though and we will out work our competitors and one day we may beat out the other 2+ million website design companies to get listed first.
Hey, Dream it. And if you are gonna dream it… Dream it big!
